“I love Dave’s studio. There is a relaxing, mellow vibe there where the music flows easily.
We got great performances every recording session. The equipment is top quality, and Dave’s has an amazing assortment of tools to do anything we wanted to do musically or technically.
Our first project together was an album requiring absolutely clean sound and high quality reproduction… I was very happy from beginning to end. Dave was very effective on the project, quickly becoming our collaborating partner. His personality is ideal for this. He knows how to play a foundational, supporting role, but also knows how to step up and lead or take a strong position when that is needed, without getting into creative conflict. We found him to be an ideal collaborator.
He has all the technical experience and knowledge needed to solve problems and get the best results, but more importantly, he also has a great ear and a musician’s sensibility and he is incredibly patient and diligent. We often worked long hours together and he was always easy to be around and fun to work with, even when I was being a royal pain. I have worked with dozens of musicians in the past and know how hard it can be at time to agree on final mix down.. this was not the case with Dave. I have opened up for Def Leppard,Bon Jovi to name a few… locally in the Atlanta area and recorded over 100 songs in the past, but never more comfortable than I did with Big Sound Productions… I highly recommend this Studio if you are a Beginner or Professional.”
